Prior to earning his veterinary degree from Tufts University, Dr. Peter Gollub earned a degree in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, he is a former director of law enforcement at the Mass Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, at which he oversaw animal cruelty investigations. Dr. Gollub also holds a law degree from Boston University and has practiced law as well as medicine.
To assist parents struggling with a child’s grief, Dr. Gollub has written a book. “Remembering Baymore”, is narrative fable based on a Kubler-Ross framework,, to help children cope with the loss of a pet.
Dr. Gollub has lived in the metro-Boston area for nearly his entire life but also enjoys traveling to different locales. In his remaining spare time, he enjoys writing, hiking and gardening.
