Dr. Joseph Palmeri, a native to Long Island New York, graduated from Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. He was in private practice for over 30 years developing a special interest in small animal internal medicine and surgery. A few years ago, Dr. Palmeri threw away his snow shovel and moved south to sunny Florida to continue practicing his love of veterinary medicine under the palm trees. He believes in caring for animals and clients as if they were his family in an open and honest manner. Dr. Palmeri enjoys travelling, swimming, bicycling along with spending time with his wife, three children and two dogs (Jimmy and Timmy). He is an active member of the Palm Beach Veterinary Society, as well as, the Florida and American Veterinary Medical Associations.
