Dr. Simpson was raised in southwest Missouri. Even from a very young age, there was no doubt in her mind that she wanted to become a veterinarian. Her childhood was filled with caring for dogs, cats, pocket pets and the occasional stranded baby bird. Her passion for medicine drove her to obtain her bachelors degree in Biology from the University of West Virginia and then obtain her Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri. For the past 6 years, she has worked exclusively in small animal general practice, caring from dogs and cats. Dr. Simpson loves to develop long-standing relationships with her clients and care for their beloved pets. She has a particular interest in preventative care, geriatric care, feline medicine and fear free handling techniques. In her free time, Dr. Simpson loves to play the piano, go hiking, fishing and spend time with her family.
