Dr. Reitinger is a Colombian native who immigrated to the United States as a child and grew up in the Bronx, New York. She has always had a deep love and compassion for animals and like most people in her profession, knew that she wanted to become a veterinarian at an early age. Prior to attending veterinary school, she served in the US Army and became a licensed Ultrasound Technologist in human medicine. It was during this training that her passion to become a veterinarian reinvigorated again.
Dr. Reitinger earned both her undergraduate and DVM degrees at Colorado State University, whose veterinary medicine program, ranks among one of the highest in the nation. Her primary veterinary interests include preventative medicine, soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. During her free time, she enjoys the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Among her favorite hobbies are working on 3,000-piece puzzles and tedious diamond paintings! Dr. Reitinger loves being a part of the BetterVet family and looks forward to welcoming you and your fur baby (ies) into our family as well!
