Dr. Michelle Gavin

Dr. Michelle Gavin was born and raised in Los Angeles. Since childhood, she had a strong passion and love for animals and knew it was her dream to become a veterinarian. She received her Bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Southern California and then went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis. After graduation, Dr. Gavin completed a rotating internship in general practice, emergency medicine and surgery at PetCare in Santa Rosa, CA. She has experience in small animal private practice as well as shelter medicine and surgery. Her special interests are in feline medicine, infectious diseases preventative care, pain management and geriatric care. In Dr. Gavin’s free time, she loves snow skiing, hiking, traveling and spending quality time with her husband, 4 kids and 2 cats and 2 dogs.
