Dr. Montgomery was born and raised in Washington - just north of Seattle. His love of animals was passed down by his mother, Robyn. Growing up, there was never a shortage of animals in the house and around the property. From exotic birds to horses, Josh’s family shared their lives with animals of all types.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from WSU and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. He returned to WSU to complete his clinical year prior to graduating in 2007.
Over the last decade, Dr. Montgomery has worked as a general veterinary practitioner throughout the Greater Seattle area. His philosophy is based on educating clients and providing them with option-based care to help them choose what is best for their companions.
In his spare time, Josh is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys hiking, camping, running, skiing, surfing, and doing just about anything else that involves the mountains. He has a spirited Labrador retriever named Mick Jagger who frequently accompanies him on his adventures.
