Dr. Amber Roegner is passionate about pursuing compassionate and quality veterinary care
that takes a holistic approach to the well-being of pet and owner. Dr. Amber grew up on the
east coast in Washington, D.C., and Atlanta, GA, and then ventured out west several years after earning an undergraduate degree in environmental engineering. She graduated from UC Davis in 2014 with a DVM and PhD in Pharmacology & Toxicology, and divides her time between working as a veterinarian, supporting area non-profits in Eugene, and as a research toxicologist focused on global health and water quality.
Her clinical interests include preventative medicine and nutrition, pharmacology, toxicology, infectious disease, complementary approaches, and end of life care. She is trained in acupuncture. When not working, Dr. Amber enjoys running on all sorts of terrain, swimming outdoors in the rain, dancing, and exploring new music, authors,
cuisines, and languages.
