Public transportation is right around the corner from the hotel, making it easy to go into Manhattan for the day or any of the other four boroughs. 


2) Hotel Brooklyn Bridge

The 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge is a carbon-neutral, waterfront getaway spot, with sweeping views of the East River and Manhattan skyline. Designed by local artists using local greenery and repurposed materials, you and your pet can call this unique hotel for the duration of your stay. 

According to their website, “Dogs are family too. We would never ask you to leave your furry (or not furry) friend behind! Your pup is always welcome at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge. We want to make sure your pup feels right at home. We are a dog-friendly team.” They only state that not just dogs are welcome, but other pets as well. They only ask that you do not leave your pet alone in your room.


3) Hampton Inn Brooklyn/Downtown

In the heart of downtown Brooklyn, The Hampton Inn is a half-mile from MetroTech Center and the New York City College of Technology. Lower Manhattan is two miles north of the hotel. Breakfast is included as is WiFi and access to a 24-hour fitness center. Dogs and cats up to 75 pounds are allowed with a $50 nonrefundable fee, so there is no need to leave them at home!


4) Sheraton Brooklyn New York Hotel

This stylish, full-service hotel is located one train stop from popular destinations like Soho, Little Italy, and Chinatown in downtown Manhattan. Pets up to 50 pounds are welcome to stay at The Sheraton with a nonrefundable pet fee per stay of $150. Only one pet is permitted per room. 


5) Aloft Brooklyn

A trendy spot located near Metrotech, Borough Hall, and the courthouse, the Aloft New York Brooklyn is definitely worth a closer look. Close to Cobble Hill shopping and dining and Prospect Park, Manhattan is just 3 subway stops away. Pets up to 20 pounds are welcome to stay at Aloft Brooklyn, with a nonrefundable pet fee of $25 per night. 


6) Pod Brooklyn

If you are looking for someplace in Brooklyn for you and your pet that’s cozy and affordable, you might want to check out Pod Brooklyn. Choose from a Bunk Pod, Queen Pod, or a Mini Suite, and bring your 25-pound and under pet along for an extra fee of $25 per night.  The Pod is a 5-minute walk to the nearest subway station and a 9-minute walk from the Music Hall of Williamsburg.


7) The Williamsburg Hotel

Are you looking for a luxury experience for you and your pet? In the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, The Williamsburg Hotel is just minutes from Manhattan and all major New York transportation hubs. According to their website, the hotel has a guest program called POOCH, “a pet-positive guest program where your furry companions will enjoy all the comforts of home right from the hotel. It's a dog's life at the Williamsburg Hotel!” Not only are pets allowed, but they are also given the royal treatment with, “a fanfare of treats and first-class pampering upon arrival. They'll be excited to choose from a dynamic selection of savory dog treats and delicious baked goods that satisfy every K9's palate!” What could be better than that?


8) Ace Hotel Brooklyn

Located in the Boerum Hill area on the edge of Downtown Brooklyn, The Ace Hotel is conveniently located to everything. Pets under 25 pounds are welcome for an additional fee of $25 per day, but they are flexible about what kind of pet you have as your traveling companion. As they state on their website, “When we say pet we really mean dog, but just get in touch if you have something stranger or larger and we’ll try to make it work.”


9) Hilton Brooklyn New York

In the heart of downtown Brooklyn, The Hilton is one block from the subway and less than a mile from Barclays Center events and Brooklyn Heights Promenade. Located on the corner of Smith Street, known for its variety of popular restaurants and shops, the hotel is also two miles from the Brooklyn Museum and the Botanic Garden. It also has a free fitness center for guests. Pets up to 50 pounds are allowed with a $150 nonrefundable fee. 


10) The Baltic Hotel Brooklyn

On its website, the Baltic Hotel Brooklyn describes itself as a modern boutique hotel that is both “tech-savvy and pet friendly.” Guests can enjoy rooms with a flat-screen TV with cable, complimentary breakfast, and free Wi-Fi. One pet up to 40 pounds is allowed per room with a weekly fee of $75. Just a short ride to Manhattan, the Boerum Hill area also offers lots to see and do with your pet.
