I have owned and cared for family pets nearly my whole life - dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, and many others! Growing up in a pet friendly neighborhood, lots of my neighbors and family friends entrusted me to care for their furry family members while they were away, including pet walks, feedings, play, baths, administering medication, and housesitting. I especially enjoy time spent outdoors dog walking, running, hiking, interactive play, and even sports like dog agility. I've raised and trained several of my own dogs from puppies to rescues and seniors, and from small to large sizes. I look forward to meeting your pup or other pet, and walking/caring for them with compassion, respect, and pawsitivity, like I would a cherished family member. My schedule is currently super flexible and open, especially for dog walking or running. I am most available Mon-Fri during daylight hours, with some availability for weekday early morning walks, after work/evening neighborhood walks, and some weekends. I have a fenced front and back yard and a friendly, playful dog of my own to help keep your pup company. I love to run and hike and am experienced running my own energetic dog, so I'm happy to dog jog with your pup if you'd like. With a great grassy park and a dog park within a mile nearby my home, access to and responsible experience with dog crates if needed, and living with my partner who also loves animals, your pet will be well loved, cared for, and attended to.

I grew up with dogs and have always loved them. I adopted my Soul Dog, Elwood, when he was 9 years old and did everything with him...he even came with me to Paris! His previous owners described him as "reactive" but after working with him "heart to heart" he became a social-emotional support animal who behaved so well flight attendants would give him filet mignon from first class and wings because they were so impressed! Sadly, Elwood passed away in November 2018. Many friends have asked me to to dogsit and walk their dogs while they were at work. I have done overnight dogsitting from 3 days to 3 weeks with multiple dogs. I have also been fostering dogs from the SB Humane Society to give them much needed breaks from the shelter and do what I can to expose him to potential adoptive parents. I have administered medication, love dog walks, going to the dog park and beach, and giving them all the love our dogs deserve! I am currently between entrepreneurial ventures as I grow my next business www.spreadgoodness.love. I work from home and have a lot of flexible availability. I can easily take breaks to take your dog to the park or beach and other fun doggie play dates! I live in the downstairs unit of a craftsman. My apartment walks out to a beautiful and LARGE fenced in yard! I have a great neighborhood to walk dogs and I am close to dog parks and the beach.

I've been taking care of dogs, cats and farm animals since I was a young child around the age of 12 years old. I've had dogs growing up and love to bond and run with them. I focus on building the dogs fitness level up just like humans ! I am also a personal/group fitness trainer and experienced runner. I work with large athletic dogs that need more exercise than the average dog. After the first few runs I can determine the dogs fitness level and help them progress over time. A dogs fitness is so important to overall health and longevity! I work as a fitness trainer and have some mornings and afternoons available throughout the week. I have time for a few more dogs. I also love to run with your pup on weekends! I bring plenty of water and a dog first aid kit in my backpack on every run. I always have the dog on leash and I'm close control.

I have fostered an assortment of dogs for a better home, providing multiple daily walks, and training ever since I was a kid. I passed a dog trainer course leaving me with the effortless ability to form connection by using communication skills through body/tone language. I work online, I like to keep myself busy so anytime after my breakfast is flexible! I get my massage class schedule posted each week (three 4h classes per week), leaving the majority of the week/days open. I am available to come over for walks, playdates, potty breaks, and even a sleepover if need be. Unfortunately I have a grumpy landlord who doesn't allow dogs on sight here at my residence.

As a caretaker for pets, I look to try keep your pet's routine as similar as possible. I know what it's like to change the routine for a pet and how it might be difficult for both owner and pet. My goal as a caretaker is to make sure both you and your pet are comfortable. I have taken care of senior dogs and have no problem going on jogs or, light walks, or just sitting in company. I can adapt to your pet and look forward to get to know them and their unique personalities. I recently moved to town and I'm currently in between jobs. My schedule is open and flexible. I will be updating my schedule constantly to reflect my availability. When I care for other's pets I treat them as if they were my own. This means giving them attention, being observant of their behaviors and just loving them unconditionally.

I've been around dogs my entire life and while I do not have one of my own at the moment, I have the experience and commitment to care for yours! From Golden Retrievers to Chihuahua-Pekinese mixes, I know that each dog has a unique personality. I have experience with Goldens, Pibbles, Bull Terriers, German Shepards, Yorkies and Doodles just to name a few. I'm a very active individual and would not hesitate to take your pupper for a run or have a play session. My weekends are completely free and I have a private fenced-in park next to my building. I also have a dog-friendly car and wouldn't mind transporting to and from your home. I genuinely are about the well-being of every single dog I've ever met because I believe they are extensions of the family.

I have been taking care of my bosses dogs every day like they are my own since the fall of 2018. One is a super playful yellow lab and the other is a sweet golden retriever. Hanging out with pups is my favorite part of every day! I work full time Monday - Friday as a personal assistant. I am free after work from 5-10 pm and completely free on weekends. I am also available in the early morning for walks when needed! Currently in an upstairs apartment however I am completely free on weekends to take your pups on long walks, to the park, or anywhere you know they love to go! I will be with your pup 24/7 and they're welcome to cuddle with me on the furniture (unless you're against that for training purposes). They will always be taken out every 1-2 hours for a potty break.

I have had a dog for 8 years and a cat for 3 so I know how to bathe, hold, feed and love them. I also have experience feeding/handling birds and turtles. I also know how to clean a stall, feed and wash a horses I have a part time job in the evening and I have one class I attend twice a week in the morning, I am mostly free mornings and afternoons

I started my own dog walking business at ten when I was home schooled, starting in my neighborhood. As time progressed it turned into dog sitting as well. Over the last few years I haven't been able to have my own dog ( and have had one my entire life ) so decided to start back from my roots and walk again. It works well for flexibility , gives me time to travel and getting to be around animals which is healing ! I will be available full time starting in November with no prior commitments to another job , and part time until then. Will have a very open schedule . Happy to take dogs out to the park, beach, wherever ! I would care for the dog as if it was my own, taking it out to go to the bathroom in the backyard. Although I specialize specifically in cat care, I've always loved animals, and I'm sure my two cats could attest to that with the way I spoil them. I truly know from personal experience how challenging it can be to find a reliable sitter while your furballs are home alone. My 10+ years' obsession with making sure my own cats thrive and live to slay another day coupled with my assorted superhero powers in bringing order to chaos are just a few compelling examples of what would make me a great sitter to look after your fur babies as if they were my own. Outside of pet sitting, I spent the last decade of my professional career in the learning and development space leading and managing training programs. I'm currently on sabbatical for a few months, so I do have some fair amount of scheduling flexibility. I'm available early mornings through late nights, and am also happy to do overnight stays as well. When you trust me with your fur friends, I plan to be your eyes and ears to make sure they are comfortable and happy, and I'll be pleased to provide regular detailed updates via videos, pictures, and text following each visit. And although I'll be focusing 100% of my time on your fur babies, I'm also happy to provide additional at-home assistance while you're away, like watering plants, bringing in mail/packages, etc. Just let me know!

I have grown up around pets all shapes and sizes! After I left home to pursue a degree in Zoology at UCSB, I continued to work in animal care at Dioji, the Wildlife Care Network, and volunteered at Santa Barbara Humane. I even adopted a dog of my own and he is fully potty trained, obedient, and we're working on reactivity; so your furry friends will be in experienced hands! :) I am currently doing school part time, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I have hour and a half morning class on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Tuesday and Thursday I have a later class that starts at 6. I am a big pet pleaser. Whatever your pet wants to do, or whatever I think they want to do, will happen. Unless I am told otherwise, of course.

I'm also an owner of a dog but he is at this time back home in Germany and I miss him a lot. It's crazy how often I'm thinking of walking my/a dog. I just miss the feeling of being in charge of a lovely dog and have adventures with him. My family always had dogs and I grew up with four-legged friends and now in college I feel sometimes alone without my doggie and I would love to fill that gap with any dog I take care of.
