I don't own a dog now, and this seems like the perfect way to get face time with my furry friends. Customer service is very important to me. Your dog isn't my only client, you are too! Hello, hello!! I am excited to meet you & your furry friend(s) and am grateful for your consideration as you seek help to ensure they're consistently well cared for. I'm well experienced with cats & dogs both -- among other critters! -- having helped + grown up with pets of all shapes and sizes as a kid to caring for my own as an adult. I'm an all-around animal & nature lover with a particularly extreme soft spot for doggos!!! <3 <3 <3 My partner Chris & I adopted and are raising two shelter-rescue dogs: Cinnamon, adopted at 8-months, is a 9 year old border collie mix and Kodiak, adopted at 11-months, is a 6.5 year old lab/terrier mix. These fluff pups are two of the most important parts of our lives and we work hard to make sure they stay active, are healthy, happy & stay showered in love. The four of us relocated to Portland, OR from South Carolina in August 2016 after a beautiful cross-country road trip. We love our new home here in the Pacific Northwest! I started providing dog & cat care here on Rover in June 2019: it was something I've always wanted to do + the timing was perfect! As my profile shows, I work hard to provide excellent service to both you and your pets by responding to messages & inquiries quickly and providing every client (100% of bookings) with pictures along with each visit's summary note. I am currently open for December bookings! I will be away for thanksgiving but will be in Portland for most of December and would love to add your furkids to my calendar! When I enter your home, I always make sure to do so cautiously, so no one can escape! I also feel more comfortable locking up while we go for the walk, if that is the service I am providing.

I love all animals! I have been employed at jobs where animal care was top priority, and have pet sat/walked dogs for friends and neighbors throughout my entire life. I have been trained on dog grooming and behavior training. I have cared for pretty much every animal under the sun! My previous dogs were two Chihuahuas that lived to be 16 and 17 years, respectively. I am currently dog-mom to a little Pomeranian boy who loves meeting new friends. I'm unable to have a dog right now so I want to make as many doggy friends as possible! I work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible. I walk between 2-3 miles a day anyway so why not have some doggy friends join me!!! I also love the rain so I have no problem with rainy day walks. Booking radius varies depending on time of day. I always carry a light on me when walking in the dark I am great at following directions. Whatever your precious fur baby needs I can help with! I adore dogs and living here in the Pearl I get to meet and greet all of the wonderful dogs (and humans) living in the area. As a 'fur' parent for over 20 years, I understand that other commitments can leave our four-legged loves at home and their outdoor needs unattended. However having someone (me) who is dependable and caring to help bridge those moments when you are not there is not only a comfort but fewer messes to clean up when you arrive home. Granted my two fur children are under twenty pounds, but I do fill-in and help with my mothers kennel of Irish Setters. Pets have been a part of my life since I can remember! I rescued my first cat when I was 4 (by convincing my mom to adopt a cute stray kitten.) Growing up, I always had multiple pets. I have helped out with pet care in my community for as long as I can remember and have done 3 years of professional pet sitting services. I have trained puppies, taken care of aging dogs and cats, and tend to make friends with most animals right away : ) My work schedule is completely flexible and by appointment, so my availability for pet care services is very open. Scheduling in advance is the safest bet, but I also love last minute appointments when they work out. When caring for pets in your home, I always take notes on all of your pets needs and come prepared to do a great job. I am detail oriented, gentle and respectful to both your pets and your space. Hey everyone - I'm wrapping up my time in medical school and have some time off between now and residency. I would love to fill it with taking care of your children. I grew up on a llama farm, trained horses, and worked on a dairy farm as well as with an equine vet and companion animal vet. Then I've owned a variety of animals myself ever since. I'm particularly in love with cats (lookin at you, grumpy bois) and will comfortably read on my side of the sofa while they observe me disdainfully for hours. I am also a (slow) runner, so sign me up for all that Aussie/border collie energy! If your pup is not of the running variety, that's okay, we can wander through neighborhoods and judge peoples houses/the housing costs in Portland together - I'll keep their secrets if they keep mine. If you have other animals of any variety, I've probably at least hung out with them before. I was a kid who checked out all the animal books in the library growing up (a fact which, when I met my partner, made her say: “did you have any friends....?”), so I'm likely to be friends with whatever animal takes up a space in your heart and home. I have been walking/training dogs since I was 10 years old. I will work with any kind of dog or cat, I have experience with force-free reactivity training (due to my own dog being a rescue). I love animals! I've taken care of dogs, cats, and other small animals my whole life. They each have their own personalities and I love getting to see that. I have a lot of experience taking care of pets with special needs. I have three clients with animals that have varying levels of anxiety. I understand that I must adapt my care to how each pet feels most comfortable. I also have experience with providing medications for my clients as well as my own. My cat has a thyroid issue that requires medication twice daily and I have never missed a dose.I have a client with 5 dogs of varying ages and personalities. They sometimes have accidents in the house but I have no problem cleaning up after them and I am very understanding. I work full-time in downtown Portland. I am available before 7:30am and after 5:00pm weekdays. I do work downtown so if you are nearby I'm usually able to stop by between 7:30-5:00. I have taken care of dogs, cats, horses, sheep & chickens since I was a kid! Love animals and want to spend all the time I can with them :) Home with toddler now and looking for fun animal filled part time work. Extra kisses and love from the toddler if pets will like her (no worries either way!) I am currently home taking care of my daughter but my mom lives with us so my schedule is very flexible!
