Fenced Yard, I'll walk run & Play
I have been retired since 2016 and now enjoy my time caring for my grandchildren and for my client's pets - a dream come true. I love walking dogs because I love the outdoors and exercise - and so do dogs!My 20 year old black Cocker Spaniel passed June 28, 2021. Lady is greatly missed by me and the visiting dogs. She was friendly, tolerant and provided a calmness. I provide your pet with a home away from home.Pets are allowed on the furniture and my bed, if they choose with plenty of attention, many visits to the fenced in yard through out the day and a couple walks a day, weather permitting.Pets give so much joy and companionship I feel they deserve to have some joy in return. Dogs love the outdoors and the bad weather doesn't seem to bother them. I am a widow and have 2 loving grown children, who also have dogs - 2 adorable grand-pups, Gracie and Lexi. Also, I have 3 wonderful grandsons and 1 Granddaughter.I have experience walking and pet sitting dogs for neighbors, family and friends, and have acquired many clients the last few years. I have experience as a paid pet walker for various breeds of dogs on the WAG app and walked over 100 dogs on the WAG app.I am reliable, dependable, and trust worthy, and enjoy being of service to others. Rover does a wonderful service of connecting Pet Owners with Pet Walkers/Sitters to do the most good. I care for my 2 Grand Babies Monday through Fridays. Therefore I am available Fridays evenings through Monday mornings and most Holidays.I will be home with your dog when you book weekends. For boarding I will give affection to visiting dogs who like to cuddle. Pets are permitted on the couch and on my bed. We have playtime in my fenced in yard.We usually take two walks per day, morning and evening - weather permitting. For drop in and walks I will do what is required, walk, feed them, play with them, bring in mail or packages, water plants.

Big or Small, I Love them All!
I have been surrounded by animals ever since I was a little girl growing up on a farm. I've taken care all kinds of dogs: big, small, old, young, and everything in between. I've experienced every stage of a dogs life. I am a former cross country runner so I am able to go for long walks or runs if your pup is use to it. I have volunteered at local shelters and kennels in addition to taking care of my pets and my friends' pets. My childhood dog suffered from various ailments including seizures. This has made me familiar with what a special needs animal may require. I am currently a student at Duquesne pursuing a law degree. Besides a few hours of classes a day, my schedule is pretty flexible. This allows me to spend as much time as needed to care for the pets I'm watching. While caring for pets in clients home, I believe it is important to keep the animal's schedule as consistent as possible. Because of this, I do my best to follow owner instructions as accurately as possible. I have been told I have a calming effect on animals and I use this to make the pets feel safe.

Grinch looking for his Max
I have always loved my dogs more than people sometimes lol. I have had a dog in my life since I was teenager, now at 47 years old I look forward to helping others with their dogs. I work 3 days a week 12 hour days, although it isn't a set schedule on days worked it still leaves several days open, also I work nights 7p-7a I like to run and/or walk, taking a dog out for a walk is a great fun, I use to take care of dogs in my own home, due to unfortunate events in my life (divorce) I don't have the dogs to take care of but I do have a home that's dog friendly, and I'm always willing to travel to a dog parents home to care for your furry or not furry dog child

Consider me your dog's auntie!
I am new to this, but I really strive to provide a continuous environment for the dogs by learning and adopting the owner's practices. My family jokingly calls me the child whisperer, so I imagine that could translate to dogs! I'm currently unemployed, and preparing for my wedding. My schedule is pretty flexible and I love going for walks and being active, so taking care of dogs is a great complement at this point in my life! I have a fenced shared backyard. My neighbors are comfortable with dogs. Because the fence does not have a strong latch, I prefer to be outside with the dogs if I bring them outside. Otherwise, I am comfortable with pets being indoors with me.

Gentle reliable and full of energy!
I've been caring for cats and dogs of all ages and sizes since I was thirteen. I have experience medicating both cats and dogs, and have been in charge of a loveable senior dog for the past few years. I'm free most days of the week, any week! I have some recurring bookings on some days of the week, but that's the only conflict I'll consistently have with scheduling. My schedule is always flexible. I guarantee that I will always be gentle and patient with your animal(s) and always hold myself to a standard of respecting others' property and belongings.

Dogs are my favorite kind of people
I am a huge dog lover, I have experience with dog sitting for friends and family members and have house sat as well. Due to my current living situation, I unfortunately am unable to have a dog of my own. Rover is a great way for me to hang out with furry friends until I am able to adopt my own dog down the road! I am willing to assist with any training programs and I do not have any issues with watching puppies or younger/energetic dogs. I currently live in the Mount Washington area and am looking for some local play time and walks. Will also assist with travel to/from any vet appointments if needed, I do not have an issue with dogs in the car (if your pup is okay with it). I was recently laid off from my full time job, so I'm looking for walks and play dates to fill my days! At this time I am open to longer visits and watching puppies for anyone who may be working full time and needs the help. My schedule is very flexible. I can easily crate dogs if needed, and provide a calm energy for high stress dogs. On walks and during outside play, all safety precautions will be taken - always on leash, plenty of water, make sure sidewalks and streets are not too hot for paws / too icy. Training tactics will always be used on my end when possible.

Your dog will love me!
I've grown up with dogs in the house, up to three at a time, and always loved taking care of them. Now that I am in university, I don't have the time to take care of my own dog, though I wish so badly that I could. But...It's summer now! I have all the time in the world to take care of your fur babies. I have dog sat for friends and neighbors for 10 years now. I miss my puppies so I will do everything to make sure yours are comfortable, happy, and well taken care of. I work part-time and am not in school right now so your pups will have my fullest attention if you leave them in my care. I live in downtown Pittsburgh so there is always plenty of space to walk and play safely. Though I live in an apartment, I have plenty of room to house a dog and I am happy to cuddle up on the couch with them. Your dogs' needs will be my highest priority and their daily routine will become mine. I have no pets of my own so there will be no hassle there. My apartment is very secure and safe for animals, many other people have pets in the building. We also have more than enough space for a dog to relax and play. I am located next to a park that is perfect for walks and for dogs that like more exercise, we can stroll all around the city and down to Point State Park. I can assure you that your dog's safety is the most important thing to me.

I can't wait to meet all your pets!
I have always had pets growing up which led to my overwhelming love for animals as an adult. I've pet sat for multiple different friends and have also spent time volunteering at local animal shelters. I love working with all kinds of dog breeds, big and small. I also understand that pets are a huge part of your family and want to give them the best care and love I can while you aren't able to! I work remotely every day so I am very flexible in being able to stop by for walks and check ins at anytime throughout the week and on weekends. Since me and my roommate both have a cat I would require staying at the clients home. This way your animal is already comfortable with the environment and I can give them the best care needed.

I can't help it. Pets just like me.
I grew up with dogs all my life and did a lot of care and learning then, but once I was out on my own, I was tempted into becoming a cat person. I've taken great care of my best friend, Neil Catburger, for the past 14 years. I have taken care of friends' cats and dogs when they leave on vacation, and I'm usually a pick because of how much they get along with me when we first meet! I was just laid off from my job of three and a half years, so pretty much any time I'm not searching for work, I'll be open to caring for pets! I can not care for pets in my home, but I take safety for animals very seriously in their own homes. After all, that is their territory. I know pets can be unpredictable at times, so I work hard to make sure I'm keeping them as comfortable as possible to avoid any damage from separation anxiety - which is vital at a time when they are missing their owners!

We love the outdoors!
I have been taking care of dogs 8 years ago, started with walking them and finally acquiring one of my own. I wipe their paws to ensure we can have plenty of cuddle time on the couch! I currently only work very early in the mornings so it leaves Oslo (fur-baby) and I plenty of time to enjoy our days outside. I usually go on short walks as soon as a wake up, then feed the dogs. Depending on the whether, I will take a long walk between 11am - 3pm. You can expect at least four short 15- 20 min walks and play time at the dog park before dark. Please inform me if you have specific feeding schedules as I tend to feed my dog at 7am, give snacks through out the day, lunch 11-12:30, and dinner at 5pm. I take plenty of short walks throughout the day and one long walk a day. I don't personally have a yard by my complex has a dog park for my pet and yours to get plenty of off leash time and play time :).

Dog walking done right!
I've always had a dog in the house growing up, and I know they need more than a 2 minute trip outside! Because of my love for dogs, my friends and neighbors have constantly relied on me to love and care for their dogs when they are away. I'm also an avid runner and can walk to your pets heart content! I am a full time student in the Pitt Occupational Therapy Doctorate program currently completing my fieldwork rotations during weekdays. Therefore, I'm only regularly available for pet care on Saturdays and Sundays. I am fully comfortable playing and caring for your pets in your home! As long as their are toys available in the home, I would love to play tug of war and other fun games to keep your pet happy!

Can I pet your dog???
I've had two dogs since I was a child. One was a corgi named Molly and she lived to be 13! The sweetest girl ever, I loved her so. Now I have a 4 year old black lab named Wink who has my heart. My aunt owns an animal shelter and I've volunteered there a couple of times. I love dogs of any size or breed. They bring me joy and happiness because our pets are family! As of right now, I just moved to Pennsylvania from Georgia and I'm job hunting. I plan to do this as a full time job until I find one, making this a part time! While my apartment doesn't allow dogs, I will come to your house and ask for a detailed list on how you'd like me to handle your animals. Meaning how much food to give them, water, play time, bathe, and walking them in a way that you're most comfortable with!

Bored airline pilot missing animals
I've grown up around cats and dogs my whole life. My mother has bread dogs in our family home since I was 10. Mostly Labradors so I am very comfortable around big dogs. However, I have everything from cats, bunnies, and even chickens. I am always the first person my friends back home would call to watch their little furry friends. I am new to the Pittsburgh area and for the first time in my ...
