Gentle care, reliable service

Gentle care, reliable service I've taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was little. Friends have relied on me repeatedly to care for their animals while they are gone. I'm currently in graduate school getting a masters degree in school counseling. I'll be finishing up my internship April 21st. Therefore, my availability will be opening up for the summer. This summer I'm completely flexible and will be home full time to care for your pets. That being said, feel free to reach out to me even if my calendar doesn't reflect your needs. I can normally accommodate and be available at the last minute. I also can do extended boarding if you book in advance. I don't have any pets of my own at the moment. But the neighborhood is very dog friendly and I'll be able to take your dog on frequent walks and on trips to the dog park.

Responsible & loving dog parent

Responsible & loving dog parent I have been around pets and taken care of dogs since I was younger. Friends have asked me several times to watch over their animals while they were out of town. I am very comfortable around animals of all ages and love them very much. I am currently taking classes online so my schedule is very flexible. Accommodating pet's day time and night time needs are no issue. Including on the weekend. I have two dogs of my own, Botan and Keiko, they are two very special dogs. As a pet owner I value understanding animals to the best of my abilities. I do not pressure them to interact with me and understand they might have a very specific schedule. Safety and their happiness are very important.

Your dog is my new BFF

Your dog is my new BFF I provide the right amount of attention and love your pal's needs. I spend a lot of my time outside so you don't have to worry about not getting enough exercise. I have watched puppies to senior young pups and also small to large. This use to be my source of income when I was in grade school. Now I work full time at home. I have more experience with house sitting than I do boarding. I have a two cats, Lunchbox Jones and Mouse Martinez. I am fully remote but I try to spend half of my day outside for exercise and mental health. My job allows me to have an open and flexible schedule which helps with work/life balance. Lots of head and belly rubs for all fur babies. My two cats play well with dogs of all ages. That is only if they play well of course. When it comes to play time, what I like to do to have a scheduled play time is setting alarms so that they don't feel lonely.

South End • No dog too big or small

South End • No dog too big or small Young professional working from home in South End Charlotte. Dogs make me so happy and their love is truly unconditional. I would love to adopt several pets of my own one day soon, but until then I am more than happy to take care of your pooch in South End until I can make that dream a reality! I'm currently working from home and live an active lifestyle. I already try and get outside for a walk several times a day and having a furry partner to bring along with me would brighten my day! While I will not be taking care of pets in my own home, I have access to multiple locations in the neighborhood perfect for walks and very dog-friendly.

Flexible work from home dog mom!

Flexible work from home dog mom! No baby too big or small! I've grown up with Newfoundland mixes and cats, and am currently mom to a Bernese Mountain Dog. Great with all babies from puppy puppies to geriatric puppies. I've trained my Berner to be a psychiatric service dog. Happy to walk, feed, snuggle or bathe. I currently work from home full time and am flexible to set my own schedule. My schedule currently revolves around my Bernese Mountain Dog so more than happy to add additional babies into the mix. I've trained my dog as a psychiatric service animal. He is very spoiled and has been raised around other dogs from chihuahuas to leonbergers. I am happy to provide play time with my boy or one on one if preferred!

Farm girl turned city dog momma!

Farm girl turned city dog momma! I grew up on a farm in southern Indiana, caring for all types of animals including dogs, cats, chickens, and horses. I have years of direct experience caring for and light training of dogs, as well as years of snuggle experience :-) Being around animals (especially dogs) is where I'm most comfortable! I recently moved to uptown Charlotte and became a dog mom to my little wild child, Roo (3 year old PomChi). I would do anything for my dog, and I know you would do the same for yours, so I promise to treat your pup as my own! I look forward to meeting your pup! I work full time, but mostly from home and am flexible to meet your needs. However, evenings and weekends are when I have the widest availability. I love a quick lunch break walk! As a dog mom myself, I know that a dog's environment is central to helping them feel comfortable and at ease. I promise to create and maintain a safe and fun space for your pup, whether in your home or outside on a walk.

Poodle family is waiting for you...

Poodle family is waiting for you... I've taken care of dogs since I was 6. Always refereeing to myself as a "Pet Mom". Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets since I can remember. My husband is also a proud "Pet Dad" and fully supports me when caring for the pets. We both love to "spoil" the little furry angels with lots of treats and caress! The statement that best defines my home, family and love for pets is "Welcome to our house, the humans live here too". About four months ago I moved from Brazil to the United States, due to my husband's job transfer. I am a full-time pet mom. Our family already consists of two snout angels, Nico and Chewbacca. We live in an apartment in Uptown - Charlotte, and we go out about three to four times a day for walks, and of course we play a lot with our neighbors because we live in amazing pet friendly apartment, that inclusive has a place just for the dogs. I live in an apartment where animals of all sizes are allowed, as so they have a exclusive place for the animals to play and do necessities without even having to leave the building. All locations have doors and railings for protection. Our family already consists of two very kind and very friendly dogs. As I stay at home all day, they have my full attention and care.

Dog lover - Center of Southend

Dog lover - Center of Southend I have owned a cat and dog ever since I was 8, and have been relied on by neighbors/friends/family as well for long term care of their pets. I work a full-time job Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm. However, I work from home and am on a flexible schedule on Thursdays and Fridays, with more availability. I'm also available on Sundays. I feel comfortable with walking dogs as I do this for my friends daily, and love getting exercise! I also consider myself attentive and observant when it comes to most things.

let's go for a neighborhood stroll!

let's go for a neighborhood stroll! I've taken care of Labrador Retrievers ever since I was 10 when our lab had her first litter of puppies. We had another litter of lab puppies this past summer! I love all dogs, big or small. I'm respectful of your dog's cues and will take them on a safe neighborhood stroll. My schedule is currently flexible. I am an early riser and can walk your dog anytime in the daytime. I don't walk dogs past 5pm. I am currently only looking to be a dog walker, not a dog sitter in homes. I will update this status if anything changes in the future.

A girl obsessed w/ dogs

A girl obsessed w/ dogs I have owned and loved dogs since I was born! My family has always had dachshunds in the house (soft spot in my heart for the breed) My family and friends have trusted me to care for, play with, and love their little ones! I'm familiar with puppies as well as older dogs & catering to individual needs! During the day, I work as an architectural designer, but almost always have a 3 day weekend (Fri-Sat) giving me more time to spend with your dog! On the weekends I have all the flexibility to run around, cuddle, and play with your dog along with taking breaks whenever they need. On weeknights after work, I am available to take your dog out and spend some time with them and give some attention! Your pup(s) and I will spend our time together in my home playing, cuddling, and spending most of the day out of a crate (besides bedtime and approx. 1.5 hours for myself to go to the gym or personal time). We can hangout on my balcony, go to a park, and getting plenty of enrichment time as well as downtime. Your pet is in good hands with me & I will send photo updates so you can see your little one while gone!

WFH Software Engineer

WFH Software Engineer My past experience with dog care includes numerous dog sitting (in client's house) jobs that have extended from a few days to a few weeks. I've lived with and cared for dogs (but don't have any of my own) and love to be around them! I am currently a software engineer in downtown Charlotte, NC and work from home, so I have a lot of flexibility with where I can be. I am eagerly waiting getting my own pup in a few months and in the meantime love to take care of others' doggies! I also appreciate the exercise that caring for a dog provides, since I sit at a desk all day (: I can bring my work with me wherever so I have a lot of ability to focus on the dog in their own space. I love to go on walks and get out of the house, so if they're an active pup I can keep up! I can cater to whatever routines or needs they have and love to play with them.

Happy to help with your dog care!

Happy to help with your dog care! I've had dogs my whole life, learning to care for them and make sure they live their fullest life. I've either had or taken care of male and female dogs, puppies and very old. I've walked and petsat dogs since I was 12 and am comfortable in whatever situation. I'm currently working on call so my schedule is in flux but I have a lot of free time for helping you take care of your pet. I've walked all size dogs for years and never had any serious issues. Doesn't matter if they are pullers or jumpers. I live in a pretty busy area and I'm extremely careful of my environment to keep any dog safe and happy out on walks and while playing.
