PROFESSIONAL--EXPERIENCED--RELIABLE

REDUCED RATES FOR RECURRING BOOKINGS. AND NO HOLIDAY RATES...EVER! A HEALTHY dog...is a HAPPY dog! Dog Walking and Drop-In visits play a huge part in helping to keep your dogs and cats both healthy and happy...and you too. Pets left alone can become overweight, bored and are likely to develop bad behaviors (chewing, continuous barking, peeing, pooping inside, etc). I am a dog and cat lover who will give your pets the upmost care they deserve when you are at work, vacationing or just need a break. A Meet & Greet is highly recommended (time permitting). It's a great way to meet you and get to know your dogs and cats...to make sure it's a good match for all. And also provides an extra level of comfort and security before the booking. YOU know your pets better than anyone and what works best. Communication and safety is key. We'll go over their routine, feeding/treats, allergies, playtime, potty time, medications and/or special needs. And most importantly...we'll go over your emergency contact and veterinarian information. I'm a young retired R.N. I have a very flexible schedule, and usually available 7 days a week. Let me know if you have any special needs or requests. My goal is to help keep your dogs and cats HAPPY and HEALTHY and you stress free. While at your home, if you have a fenced yard I always walk the perimeter to be sure all fences and gates are secured leaving no possibility of them getting loose. When on walks your dogs will be on a leash 100% of the time...while avoiding other people and dogs. I don't allow children or adults to pet the dog(s) I am walking. I politely tell them I am a dog walker and it's for everyone's SAFETY.

Home-body ready to love your animal

My goal is to make you and your pet feel comfortable while you're away. I'm extremely responsible, professional, and respectful of your home and privacy, not to mention kind of a clean freak. Your dog will love all the attention they receive while we relax, watch Netflix, and cuddle. Did I mention the hundreds of belly rubs they'll get while I'm there. That's included at no additional cost. What started out as taking care of friends and family's pets has turned into a genuine love for this business. I love each and every pet I care for and have formed special bonds with them all. I personally don't have pets which allows me the flexibility to care for yours, as well as fill my life with great joy getting to know them. I hope to meet your sweet loved ones and continue to have the best job in the world. Feel free to check out my Instagram account for more pictures of my loved ones @dogsbestgirlfriend I walk dogs daily and have a set schedule with them. I'm looking to add more dogs to my rotation between the hours of 10 and 3, Monday thru Friday. I have stayed in many homes without incident and pride myself in the respect I show to your possessions. I will take care of your pets in the comfort of their own home and surroundings to put them at ease while their family is away.

Goal: Make Every Pet Feel Special

I've grown up with a dog and 2 cats my whole life. It's totally possible to be a dog AND cat person I promise!! Whenever my parents were away, I would care for my pets on my own. I did overnight dog sitting in high school for a neighbor and for a family friend. I also was a live-out nanny for a family who owned 2 dogs. I am completely comfortable caring for all types of pets- big or small! I work nightshift as a pediatric nurse. I would love to fill some of my time off during the week making pets feel super loved, safe, and happy! I am free about 3 days a week, depending on my work schedule. I will do my best to keep my Rover availability calendar updated :) I would love to take your dog on a well deserved, long walk (or multiple shorter ones throughout the day). I would be sure to include plenty of water breaks, of course! I would also be happy to visit your pet at home to play, give them food, water, treats, or just show them some love while you're away. I will be sure to send you some pictures of your happy pet getting cuddled and just enjoying life!

I love elder critters & a challenge

As a dog foster with Austin Pets Alive! (and repeated “foster-failure”), I've worked with many different types of dogs: medical cases, those with a bite history, and—definitely the most difficult—litters of puppies! I even adopted one of my medical fosters, so I am not phased by dogs who may present a bigger challenge, and, in the event of an emergency, I can carry dogs up to 100lbs. I have a soft spot for old dogs and dogs who have behavioral challenges (I have rehabilitated over a dozen dogs with documented bite histories), but I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and like to take the time to get to know the individual dog. For this reason, I strongly prefer to do a meet and greet before caring for a dog. I also think it's important to keep training consistent—and I know how important mental stimulation is, especially for working dogs—so if you let me know what you've been working on with them, I'll make sure to keep up with it! Leaving your pet in the care of someone else can be stressful. I am probably the worst when it comes to this, so I know how important it is to get picture and video updates to actually *see* they're in good hands. Never hesitate to reach out to me if you're having separation anxiety and need a little extra reassurance and pictures! I work from home and am largely able to set my own schedule, so aside from caring for my own gremlins, I am fairly flexible. I try to create a calm, structured environment in which everyone gets as many pets as they want with as much exercise and mental stimulation as they need.

Dog lover!

I have grown up around dogs all my life and could not live without them. I have taken care of family and friends dogs as well as my own dogs for over 20 years. I am good with large and small breeds. I have 2 Dachshunds that are my everything. I am currently working part time and looking to fill my schedule helping walk, feed, play and possibly board friendly dogs that will get along with mine. I am somewhat flexible with my schedule and I work from home most days. I enjoy being with the pets so much and want the experience to be good for everyone. I will be dependable, caring and will follow directions.

Keeping Pets Safe for 15 Years

I have been in the pet industry for over 15 years. I have literally worked with every type of dog in my career. I am looking to interact with more dogs in my day in between my pet containment consult appointments. I have had my rescue for 8 years and she brings so much happiness to me and my family. I schedule my own appointments so I have the flexibility to add Rover appointments through out my day. Being around pets all day has been my passion for years. My career is keeping pets safely contained on their properties. I am devoted to animals' well-being and I am the primary caregiver to my rescue dog.

Doggy lover with a dog. Let's play!

Between my dog and my parents dog, I've spent 12 years raising dogs from puppies to adults. I also live right next to Barton Springs and Zilker Park. If you're okay with it, I also like going to a fenced in dog park. It's important to me that your dog has a great time with me. Open to do what makes them happy! I don't see this as a job, but a chance to make new furry friends! I mostly work from home, so I've got lots of time to give attention. If I do have to work outside of my apartment, I'll let you know. I also have a small/medium sized dog that gets along well with other dogs. He's probably the chillest dog on the planet. I understand that all dogs have a their favorite way to play, feel love, follow a routine, and I like to accommodate as much of that as I can! I love to communicate as much as I can with the owner to create meaningful and fun experiences

a fan of all critters!

I've had experience fostering dogs through APA! I grew up around dog training so I picked up a few things here and there. If your furry child is shy or stubborn, I know how to be calm and assertive. Or if you need someone to wear them out, I can take them on a run with me! For over twenty years, I've had experience handling dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I am confident and comfortable in any situation! My goal is to make your best friend as comfortable as possible. I currently do not work a traditional 9-5. My schedule is pretty flexible. I do like to dedicate my Saturday mornings to a long run - don't worry though, I won't make them run that far with me ;) I am very receptive to rules. If you tell me how to board or crate your kiddo, I will do that! I'll also take lots of pictures and videos to send to you!I will take them on plenty of walks and give them the proper attention they need.

Fun, caring and active dog lover!

I've cared for dogs all my life including German Shepherds, Pugs and a King Charles Cavalier, and now have a Mini Labradoodle. I love taking care of dogs and have cared for many of my friends pets as well. I'm great at handling dogs with unique temperaments and even medical conditions. Your dog will be in great hands while having a wonderful stay with me! I currently work from home and have a lot of free time for dog care. I am available for walks, day visits, and overnight stays. Let me know if spontaneous visits or a fixed schedule works best for you. I am in a ground floor three bedroom apartment that faces a large dog park for us to play with other dogs in the complex. Additionally, I'm right near Lady Bird Lake which would be my favorite place to do dog walks! My two roommates and other friends here are huge dog lovers as well who can't wait for me to host your pup!

Your dogs new bff & fav new trainer

Want to clarify firstly that I don't go by my legal name, I go by Alexis. Before I had a pup of my very own, I used to live with a friend who had two medium sized, fully grown dogs. My friend worked full time so I took them out every 5hrs, feed them breakfast & dinner, as well as trained one of them. When I got my, now 11 month old, Yorkie, Choco, I new I wanted him to be my personal service dog. I've been training him since 4 months, and he is a great psychiatric service dog in training. He's learned 5 out of 7 tasks so far and is in the process of learning his last two. I also am well known in my buildings dog community as a “dog whisperer” just due the fact that most dogs naturally listen to my voice and my commands naturally, even those who struggle to listen to their owners. I'm free Mon from 3pm-6pm, Tues all morning & early afternoon till 3pm, Thurs all day till 8pm, Friday after 3pm, and all Sat & Sun till 8pm (unless boarding) I always make sure to keep them stimulated either by training (with approved treats from client), puzzle feeding toys to keep them entertained/engaged, or play time wi the toys or a nice game of chase/hide n' seek. I would take them out regularly (varies on breed and size as well as underlying conditions) and if approved walks or even quality socialization at my buildings dog park (only if given permission). Making sure they get a good amount of exercise and quality time balance.

Friendly pet lover!

I grew up on a farm with my family before moving to Austin for school, and I also worked at a dog kennel for a time, so I have a lot of experience caring for dogs, cats, and a handful of animals in between! I'm currently a student at UT-Austin with a few classes each day and also working a few shifts at a restaurant every week (primarily weekends), but outside of that I have some free time in between to walk dogs or do drop-in visits! In clients' homes I would want to do a walk through with the client and their pet to go over everything - where the pets' items are if any are needed for care, how well they walk/play, what the best way to interact with them is (such as if they're food motivated, toy motivated, or anything that they *don't* like, etc), and establish any potential trouble areas and the best way to manage them. :)

Keeping your pets happy and safe

I've had various types of pets throughout my life ranging from dogs to rabbits. I have had experience with young and old, as well as sick pets. I work from home and have the flexibility to house sit or give your pets the love they deserve through drop in visits, long walks where they are familiar and at my house on the weekends. I can drop by as needed or stay overnight to care for your pet. I'm available for walks, feedings, play dates or anything your pet might need.

Let me be your pet's friend!

Growing up, I had a Dalmatian and several cats that I took care of! I am a huge animal person and am so sad that I don't currently have a pet friend of my own. I'd love to become friends with yours! I'm currently only working part time so I am able to walk, play with, and be a friend to your pets at practically any time I'm needed. There is a beautiful trail that is dog-friendly right outside of my apartment that also has a small open air field where dogs are welcome to play!

Ur go-to UT Campus walker is here!

I've grown up with all kinds of dogs (big and small)— 5 at my parents, not including the cat. As a kid I would often stay home from vacation to make sure my pets were fed if my parents couldn't find a sitter. I have experience bathing, giving medication, playing and of course feeding dogs. Over the past summer I've looked after dogs, cats, and even a bunny (the latter I also had growing up). Currently, I am living away from my parents and own a cat. I am dying to meet your pet! Most of my classes are online, and I work 3-4 days a week, past 5pm. So, I will best be available in the mornings and afternoons. I cannot pet sit at my residence as it is against my landlord's rules; however, I have reliable transportation to get to my clients residence. I enjoy spending active time with pets, following feeding and/or medication times. I have tremendous patience for all pets and don't mind cleaning up after their messes.

I can do whatever you need!

I have always had dogs/cats growing up, so I'm very comfortable with all breeds and ages of animals. I don't have a dog of my own but miss having companionship and caring for them. I work full time but my schedule is pretty flexible. I get frequent breaks from work and can find time to pop in and check in on animals who need it. I can do whatever someone's normal routine is pretty easily. I'm not weird about cleaning up messes or the un-fun parts of taking care of animals. Whatever you need, I got you!

Honest, gentle calm animal lover

Hello! I'm Nick, I've took care of 3 dogs for 10 years of my life and had a pitbull for 2 years. Also volunteered for an animal adoption/foster care non-profit for 1 year! Dogs and cats love me and my energy and warm up to me really quickly. I'm eager to be the best sitter/walker. I'm not tiny by any means so I can handle a big dog if necessary.I'm vegan so I'm very aware of animal cruelty, so I treat animals with the utmost respect they deserve! I'm currently living in my van, so I travel around Austin, Houston, and San Antonio! so I will be adjusting my location and availability according to my location at the time! We will work out a schedule that works for you. My dogs have all been indoor/outdoor dogs, and my cats have been only indoors, that's the extent of my knowledge. I can perform any task that is asked of me though

I've had pets all my life, and am very comfortable around animals. I grew up house sitting for members of my community—neighbors, family, and friends have relied on me to walk and feed their pets.
