How do I create a BetterVet account?

Here's the simple step by step process to create a My Pet Center account on BetterVet's website or mobile app.

For pet owners looking to book a mobile veterinary appointment with BetterVet, creating an account is simple.

Here's the step by step process of creating a BetterVet account:

Website

Step 1: Visit the My Pet Center portal

  1. Click "Don't have an account? Sign Up Now"

  2. Enter your ZIP Code

    1. If you're ZIP Code is not in our service area, you can sign up for our wait list. We will notify you if/when we start to service your area.

  3. Enter an email and password for the account OR sign up with your Gmail or Apple ID

  4. Add your name and phone number

Step 2: Add your pet(s)

  1. Pick the type of animal you have

  2. Add their name, breed, weight, and more...

  3. Repeat for each pet in your household

Step 3: Fill out your address

  1. Click on "Profile"

  2. Select "Personal Information" from the dropdown

  3. Start typing your address...

  4. Select the correct address from the dropdown

    1. To ensure we arrive at the correct location, please add in any specific address identifiers like apartment numbers, suites, a floor, or building number

  5. Click "Save"

Step 4: Add a payment method

  1. Click on "Profile"

  2. Select "Payment Methods" from the dropdown

  3. Add your credit card details

  4. Click "Save"

Mobile App

Step 1: Download the BetterVet app

  1. Download the mobile app from its respective app store:

    1. Google Play (Android)

  2. Let the app finish installing and load it up

  3. Select "I'm New to BetterVet"

  4. Enter your ZIP Code

    1. If you're ZIP Code is not in our service area, you can sign up for our wait list. We will notify you if/when we start to service your area.

  5. Sign up with either Google, Apple, or an email address

Step 2: Add your pet(s)

  1. Pick the type of animal you have

  2. Add their name, breed, weight, and more...

  3. Repeat for each pet in your household

Step 3: Fill out your address

  1. Click on the user icon (👤) on the top left of the home screen

  2. Next to your name and email address, click on the pencil and pad icon (📝)

    1. This should be on the top right of the "My Account" screen

  3. Start typing your address...

  4. Select the correct address from the dropdown

    1. To ensure we arrive at the correct location, please add in any specific address identifiers like apartment numbers, suites, a floor, or building number

  5. Click "Save"

Step 4: Add a payment method

  1. Go to the "My Account" screen (listed above)

  2. Click "Add Credit Card"

  3. Add your credit card details

  4. Click "Save"
